Our Mission

The Muslim Basketball Association (MBA) is a not for Profit Organization that runs basketball leagues and tournaments. MBA exists to provide an opportunity for Muslim youth to compete in an Islamic environment that emphasizes the fundamentals of basketball skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. While Building and strengthen a sense of community and brotherhood amongst them. We will Insha Allah strive to provide the best competition at all levels while maintaining the highest degree of Islamic Etiquette, participation and sportsmanship.

Objectives

To provide an opportunity for Muslim youth to compete in an Islamic environment
To provide A Basketball Leagues or Tournaments for the Muslim Youth that will help develop their basketball skills
To build a unique relationship based on Islamic brotherhood and unity amongst Muslim Youth.
To encourage our Youth to be the best that they can be in the game of Basketball.
To occupy their time in a dynamic manner.
To always put priory on the needs of our youth.
To provide a viable option for our Muslim youths.
To build relationship between Local Mosques, Local Muslim Businesses and the Muslim Youth though our team sponsors program.
To act Islamic and with professional manner in all of our conducts.
To always adhere to the rules of the Quran, Sunnah and Islamic Shariah (according to the understanding of the best of mankind the "Sahaabah" Companions) in all of the League Affairs

Long-term goals

Long-term goals will be accomplished through a series of fundraisers aimed to raise funds to build MBA community center to run the leagues from with the following key features:
